In Nizhny Novgorod were summed up the results of the VI All-Russian Student Pharmaceutical Olympiad — an educational project of the Association of Russian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (ARPM), which this year was supported by the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, were summed up.
According to the results of the main competition, the jury of the Olympiad identified six winner teams in two directions: Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology. In the nomination "Pharmaceutical technology" the first place was taken by a team from the St. Petersburg State Chemical and Pharmaceutical University, Institute of Fine Chemical Technologies M.V. Lomonosov took second place and the Dmitry Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia — the third. In the nomination “Pharmacy”, Tyumen State Medical University became the leader, the team of the pharmaceutical faculty of the St. Petersburg State Chemical and Pharmaceutical University took the second place and the third place was taken by the students of Ryazan State Medical University named after academician I.P. Pavlov.
The partners of the Olympiad noticed individual participants and teams who showed themselves in master classes (workshops) and contests, and awarded them with valuable prizes and gifts. In addition, within the framework of the Olympiad, the Ministry of Industry and Trade held its competition, the participants of which had to answer 5 questions in the Instagram. The winner, the first who sent the correct answers, and received the opportunity to have an internship in the Department of Industry and Trade, was a student of the RUDN University.
In total, 160 students from 30 universities, two of which are in the Republic of Belarus, took part in the All-Russian Student Pharmaceutical Olympiad — 2019.

The next Olympiad will be held in 2021 in the Kaliningrad region. In a solemn atmosphere at the closing ceremony, Nizhny Novgorod passed the baton to Kaliningrad.
